【Indications】Yin Li Shu®is indicated for the treatment in patients with mild to moderate infections caused by susceptible strains of the designated microorganisms in the conditions listed below:
Upper Respiratory Tract:
Pharyngitis/tonsillitis caused by Streptococcus pyogenes.
Otitis Media caused by Streptococcus pneumoniae, Haemophilus influenzae (including β-lactamase-producing strains), and Moraxella (Branhamella) catarrhalis (including β-lactamase-producing strains).
Acute Sinusitis caused by Streptococcus pneumoniae, Haemophilus influenzae (including β-lactamase-producing strains), and Moraxella (Branhamella) catarrhalis (including β-lactamase-producing strains).
Lower Respiratory Tract:
Secondary Bacterial Infections of Acute Bronchitis and Acute Bacterial Exacerbation of Chronic Bronchitis caused by Streptococcus pneumoniae, Haemophilus influenzae (including β-lactamase-producing strains), and Moraxella (Branhamella) catarrhalis (including β-lactamase-producing strains).
Skin and Soft Tissue Infections:
Uncomplicated skin and soft tissue infections caused by Staphylococcus aureus (including penicillinase-producing strains) and Streptococcus pyogenes. Abscesses usually require surgical drainage. Bacterial culture and susceptibility test in determing pathogenic bacteria’s susceptibility to cifprozil should be carried out in appropriate time.

【Usage & Dosage】Oral Administration.
Adults (13 years and older):
Upper respiratory tract infections: 0.5g each time, once a day; Low respiratory tract infections: 0.5g each time, twice a day; Skin and soft tissue infections: 0.5g/day in 1 or 2 divided doses; Severe infections: 0.5g each time, twice a day.
Children (2 years-12years):
Upper respiratory tract infections: 7.5 mg/kg each time, twice a day; Skin and soft tissue infections: 20 mg/kg, once a day.
Infants & Children (6 months-12 years):
Otitis media: 15 mg/kg each time, twice a day; Acute sinusitis: 7.5 mg/kg each time, twice a day; Sever infections: 15 mg/kg each time, twice a day, usually 7-14 days duration of treatment.
In the treatment of pharyngitis/tonsillitis due to beta hemolytic streptococcus, Yin Li Shu should be administered for at least 10 days. (Please see the instruction for specific recommendations.)
