【Indications】An
De Qing® is indicated for the treatment
of the following infections when caused by
stains susceptible to Cefuroxime: Respiratory
tract and E.N.T infections, respiratory tract
infections caused by Streptococcus pneumoniae,
Haemophilus influenzae (including ampicillin-resistant
strains), Klebsiella, Staphylococcus aureus
(penicillinase- and non-penicillinase-producing
strains), Streptococcus pyogenes, and Escherichia
coli. Respiratory tract infections，such as
otitis media, naso sinusitis, amygdalitis,
pharyngitis, acute and chronic bronchitis,
infections due to distention or complicating
of bronchus, bacterial pneumonia, lung abscess,
and postoperative pulmonary infections.

【Usage &
Dosage】An De Qing may be given intravenously
or by deep IM injection. Before injecting
intramuscularly, aspiration is necessary to
avoid inadvertent injection into a blood vessel.
For Intramuscular Use: Each 0.25g vial of
An De Qing should be dissolved with 1.0ml
of Sterile Water for Injection. Shake gently
to disperse and withdraw completely the resulting
suspension for deep IM injection.
For Intravenous Use: Each 0.25g vial of An
De Qing should be dissolved with at least
2.0ml of Sterile Water for Injection; each
0.75g vial of An De Qing should be dissolved
with at least 6.0ml of Sterile Water for Injection;
each 1.5g vial of An De Qing should be dissolved
with at least 12.0ml of Sterile Water for
Injection. Shake gently to disperse and withdraw
completely the resulting suspension and slowly
inject the solution into a vein, or add into
intravenous vial for intravenous drip.
The usual dosage for adults is 0.75g-1.5g
each time, every 8 hours, for 5-10 days of
treatment. In life-threatening infections
or infections due to less susceptible organisms,
1.5 grams every 6 hours may be required. In
bacterial meningitis, the dosage should not
exceed 3 grams every 8 hours. The recommended
dosage for uncomplicated gonococcal infection
is 1.5 grams given intramuscularly as a single
dose at 2 different sites of rump together
with 1 gram of probenecid taken orally.
